L’Ambassade des États-Unis d’Amérique à Paris et Synopia ont le plaisir de vous annoncer la tenue d’une conférence exceptionnelle organisée à l’Hôtel de Talleyrand sur le thème de la sécurité des approvisionnements énergétiques en Europe.
Elle se déroulera en anglais et sera suivie d’un cocktail.
Présentation de la conférence :
Is Europe’s future energy supply simply a commercial commodity or a key component of European security? What do French and international experts say? Russia’s Gazprom is constructing a second underwater Nord Stream pipeline in order to double transport of Russia’s gas directly into Germany and the European Union. The doubling of the underwater Nord Stream pipeline desired by the Russians and Germans worries Europe, which sees there a threat of bypassing Ukraine depriving Ukraine of Russian supplies and transit rights. For their part, the United States would like to develop its gas exports to Europe in the form of liquefied natural gas. The purpose of the conference is to assess the challenges of European energy supply in a broader context of the energy security of Europe.
